Producers’ Responsibility Organisations Packaging Alliance
PROsPA is an Alliance for cooperation and exchange between leading packaging recovery organisations (PRO) in Europe, operating in countries that together represent over 50% of the population and over 60% of GDP of the EU-28.
ARA, CITEO, Der Grüne Punkt, Sociedade Pontoverde, Rekopol, REPAK, and Valpak operate under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle in Austria, France, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Ireland and the United Kingdom respectively. All are members of PRO Europe sprl. The main task of PRO Europe’s members is to manage the efficient implementation of adequate national collection and recovery systems.
